	Jordi Fornas i Martínez (Barcelona, 1927-2011), pintor i dissenyador gràfic. Fou el responsable de la imatge gràfica de grans referents de la cultura catalana, com ara Edicions 62 (amb col·leccions com La Cua de Palla, El Balancí, El Trapezi, etc.), així com dels inicis de la Gran Enciclopèdia Catalana, la revista Serra d’Or i les Publicacions de l’Abadia de Montserrat,&#38;nbsp; i la discogràfica Edigsa.

Fornas és un protagonista clau en el disseny gràfic català, pel fet que és una baula d’un engranatge que revolucionà i modernitzà la cultura catalana dels 60, i perquè va ser precursor d’un canvi que havia d’arribar a una societat que volia trencar amb el gris del franquisme. Formà part d’un moment històric i va construir, des del disseny gràfic, una nova identitat d’un temps i d’un país.

	DIADA NACIONAL DE CATALUNYA2022. CampaignSeptember 11th is La Diada, Catalonia’s National Day. The Government of Catalonia, in collaboration with the Graphic Design Association ADG-FAD, organized a portfolio contest.
Our proposal was selected among the finalists and become the poster and campaign to commemorate la Diada 2022. The campaign recovers vernacular typefaces from old placards to pay tribute to annonymous people who fought for civil rights in Catalunya. We redraw a set of letterings based on old banners. On the other hand, the text is a excerpt from a poem of Joana Raspall, writer, linguistic and teacher. We pay tribute to Raspall to celebrate freedom and equality.

	DIADA NACIONAL DE CATALUNYA2022. Campanya, tipografiaRespira, parla, trepitja.&#38;nbsp;

Campanya institucional per a la commemoració de la perdua les llibertats seculars l'any 1714 i la posterior recuperació de la democràcia l'any 1980. Projecte guanyador del procés participatiu, proposa un trípitic de cartells a partir dels versos de la poeta i pedagòga Joana Raspall. 
El vers (amb una tipografia dissenyada per la campanya) disposat com les quatre barres de la senyera, convida a la ciutadania a empoderar-se i alliberar-se de qualsevol opresió.

Our proposal was selected among the finalists and become the poster and campaign to commemorate “la Diada 2022”. The campaign recovers vernacular typefaces from old placards to pay tribute to annonymous people who fought for civil rights in Catalunya. We redraw a set of letterings based on old banners. On the other hand, the text is a excerpt from a poem of Joana Raspall, writer, linguistic and teacher. We pay tribute to Raspall to celebrate freedom and equality.

Serra d'Or és una revista nascuda l'octubre de l'any 1959 (la més antiga de les terres de parla catalana) a instàncies d'un grup d'universitaris.La proposta de disseny, treballa amb un peu al passat de la publicació i un altre al futur. Una feina d'estudi i recuperació d'elements característics de la revista dels anys 60 i 70 dissenyada per Jordi Fornas. A principis dels anys seixanta, aspirava a ser la tribuna d'un país perseguida i va esdevenir un far del món de la cultura, diversa i desperta a les diferents visions. Va convertir-se en una plataforma per als intel·lectuals catalans de la segona meitat del segle XX.Selecció de dobles pàgines del número 761, maig 2023.

	FORNAS. LA IMATGE DE LA CATALUNYA DEL SEIXANTA.2022. Comissariat, identitat

Als anys seixanta, es va posar en marxa una indústria cultural a Catalunya que pretenia recuperar la presència dins la societat catalana, perduda i silenciada pel règim franquista des del final de la Guerra Civil.

Des de l'estudi, es va iniciar una fase de recerca sobre la vida i obra de l'autor, portada a terme per Pau Llop i que en acabat va esdevenir el comissari de les exposicions, tant a l'Institut d'Estudis Ilerdencs de Lleida, com al Museu del Disseny de Barcelona. Més enllà d'aquesta tasca, es va portar a terme el disseny dels elements gràfics de l'exposició, la identitat i la comunicació.

Jordi Fornas i Martínez (Barcelona, 1927-2011), format a l'Escola de Belles Arts Sant Jordi de Barcelona, i no va ser fins a principis dels anys seixanta que va començar a tenir encàrrecs i a dedicar-se plenament al disseny gràfic. En aquest àmbit, va assolir un prestigi i reconeixement convertint-lo en un dels pilars més importants del renaixement cultural de la segona meitat del segle XX. La seva feina, va resultar ser la&#38;nbsp;identitat gràfica de la nova cultura de masses en català. La seva obra gràfica beu de l’estètica pop britànica, del disseny de l’escola suïssa i, especialment, de la&#38;nbsp;gràfica francesa&#38;nbsp;dels anys cinquanta.

Model, Festival d'Arquitectures de Barcelona és un espai per a reflexió i la celebració de l'arquitectura experimental, on es convida a repensar nous models de societat, ciutat i imaginaris col·lectius.La identitat treballa sobre una tipografia ,dibuixada  especialment pel projecte, a partir de les diferents formes que tenen les arquitectures i elements urbans de la ciutat de Barcelona. Model esta organitzat per l'Ajuntament de Barcelona i la Fundació Mies van der Rohe i dirigit per Eva Franch Gilabert.

	MODEL. FESTIVAL D’ARQUITECTURA DE BARCELONA2022. CampaignGraphic identity for Model Festival 2023 edition.
Model, Barcelona Architectures Festival is a space for reflection and celebration that brings us experimental architecture and helps us to rethink how we wish to live together through new city models and imaginaries. The identity is based on a bespoke typeface drawn from the shapes of different architectures found in the city map and streets. This year’s edition uses architectures in the area of Plaça de les Glòries, where the event will take place.  Model is organised by Barcelona City Council and Mies van der Rohe Foundation and directed by Eva Franch Gilbert.
